Day 01+
Arrival / Bandaranaike International Airport. / Negombo

On Arrival you will be welcomed by our representative, who will be your guide of the tour. You'll be boarded into our comfortable vehicle with the baggage & dropped off at the hotel to refresh.

If time permits: Take a City Tour of Negombo / Stroll on the Beach

If you arrive early & you have plenty of time then go sightseeing in Negombo's Dutch Fort, St. Mary’s Cathedral, Guruge Water Park, Morawala Pebble Beach, St. Sebastian’s church, St. Stephen’s Anglican church, Bird watching at Muthurajawela marsh estuary, Hamilton Canal, Fish Market, Bodhiraja Temple, Blue Lagoon etc. are some of the main attractions in Negombo to visit.

Day 02+
Negombo / Chilaw / Kandy Transfer
Visit the Munneswaram Kovil / Temple near Chilaw. Dedicated to Lord Shiva and the Dance of Shiva / ‘Nataraja’ – to mirror all movement within the cosmos – To release people from the illusion of the idea of the ‘self’ & the physical world.

Visit the Manawari Kovil / Temple) in Chilaw. Dedicated to King Rama of India who was an incarnation of Vishnu the God of preservation the great maintainer providing salvation for humanity, there are only two Rama lingams in the world, one is here & the other in Rameswaram, the most sacred place in Tamil Nadu State of India.

Day 03+
Kandy / Nuwara Eliya Transfer
Visit the Sri Baktha Hanuman Kovil at Ramboda. Dedicated to Hanuman the Monkey God with a black granite statue, who accompanied King Rama in his war with King Ravana of Lanka. Located on top of a hill overlooking the Kotmale Reservoir & Valley the temple has a breathtaking view of the surroundings, fully worth the climb.

Visit the Seetha Amman Kovil at Seetha Eliya near Hakgala Botanical Gardens. Dedicated to Queen Sita Devi of the Ramayana Epic of India, it is one of the places where Princess Sita was held captive by Ravana during his War with King Rama & Hanuman.

Day 04+
Nuwara Eliya / Ella Transfer
Visit the Divurumpola Buddhist Temple, located near Welimada – the place where Sita underwent the famous ‘Fire’ Test ordeal in order to prove her innocence & purity. Visit the Gayathri Peedam Kovil / Temple. The personified form of the popular hymn from the Vedic text, often associated with Savitr – a solar deity in the Vedas.

Day 05+
Ella / Kataragama Transfer
Ella is the mystical land of Ravana. Visit Ravana Caves in Ella, where Ravana held Sita captive according to the Epic Ramayana. However, the locals claim that Sita was Ravana’s Daughter, who was abducted & retrieved several times from Rama by Ravana to set an example that girls can be exposed in Society in order to enable common girls to abandon their shyness. So, it is only a prehistoric dwelling place according to the locals. On the slopes of ‘Little Adam’s Peak’ King Ravana has buried anomalous metallic rocks, & when the sun heats up the dry yellow grass, a fire ignites the grass to burn as it happens annually. This fire was ‘sold’ at the time to torch bearers from mainland India to be distributed to the Maharajas.

Visit Ravana WaterFalls in Ella, a beautiful 4 tier water cascade named after Ravana because he had a secret cave 125 meters below the 2nd Tier. If at all he held Sita captive it had to be here. Known as ‘Nil Diya Pokuna’ – Blue Water Pond is located deep under the falls where hardly anyone would want to go. An adventurous descend awaits the hero who may use a guide & helpers to use ropes & ladders to go down the wet & slippery slope to the pond & large sand dune, where Ravana trained his secret service agents with Angampora – self-defense & medieval spying & combat maneuvers.

Day 06+
Kataragama / Galle / Hikkaduwa / Colombo Transfer
The magical land of the ancient mysterious deities. Visit the temple where devotees walk on fire coals, shower in boiling milk / water, piece their cheeks, arms & abdomen & don’t hurt, burn or bleed, as it is done with spiritual vows to Lord Murugan, son of lord Shiva.

Ussangoda – A rare red metallic rock like a meteor believed to be thrown by Lord Hanuman during his fight against King Ravana in order to defeat the Emperor.

Rumassala in Galle – A Rock hill believed to be from the Himalayas thrown by Lord Hanuman during the Rama vs Ravana War and settled beside the Ocean.

Visit Seenigama Temple, Hikkaduwa which is an Islet off the coast believed to be another boulder/Menhir thrown by God Hanuman during that battle, where a Temple has been built to invoke the blessings of the Gods.

Visit the Sri Anjaneyar Temple in Colombo, dedicated to Lord Hanuman, there is an annual Chariot Festival in December to mark the occasion of the defeat of King Ravana by Lord Hanuman. Lord Shiva had taken the form of Hanuman according to the Ramayana Epic written by Valmiki.
